and Nancy Richardson, the owners of Otterbox. He was personally hired by the Richardsons to create, manage and grow the real estate arm of the company from its inception.  Responsibilities included: Identify assets for purchase or sale, contract negotiation,
purchase and sale agreements, due diligence efforts, financial models, overall project management, selecting and manage other employees, sub consultants and contractors, entitlement efforts, municipality negotiations, development agreements, project inception, programing, concept and final design, project construction drawings, bidding, value engineering, construction management and oversight, project leasing or sale of assets, municipality and community relationship building, public relations, acquisition and management of water and oil and gas assets.


MCWHINNEY

Loveland, Colorado (March 2001 - July 2011)
Vice President of Land Development responsible for:  Project management and selection of sub-consultants, contract negotiation, land
entitlements, development negotiation and purchase and sale agreements, water sales and transactions, oil and gas negotiations for drilling and capping of wells, tracking of market trends and conditions, tracking of current projects by others, following and monitoring the market specifically for the way municipalities are growing, preliminary and final cost estimates and proformas of various projects, layout and design of selected projects and building relationships with neighboring municipalities.


DESIGN STUDIOS WEST

Denver, Colorado (October 1997 - April 2001)
Project Manager and Senior Landscape Architect/Planner for a wide variety of projects including Ski Resort Planning, Golf Course Community Planning, medium to high end residential community design and mixed-use commercial/retail/business and office planning.

 

JIM SELL DESIGN

Fort Collins, Colorado (March 1996 - October 1997)
Project Manager and Landscape Architect for a wide variety of projects including residential community design, parks and playground design, commercial and business and retail centers.


PASHEK ASSOCIATES

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (May 1993 - January 1996)
Landscape Architect for recreational based projects including parks, open space, rails to trails, riverfront parks, interpretive parks and playgrounds as well as site planning projects including residential, business/office and retail, libraries, schools, medical establishments, and assisted living.

Landscape Architecture, Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis
on planning, West Virginia University, 1993.
